Water Level Assistant for blinds Children
A rechargeable assistive device developed for Giza Systems Foundation to help children safely fill cups using intelligent water-level detection with visual and audible alerts.
Project Overview
The Smart Water Level Assistant was developed in collaboration with Giza Systems Foundation as a social impact project aimed at helping children safely fill drinking cups without overflowing.
The compact device uses dual conductive probes to detect when water reaches a predefined level. Once detected, it immediately activates an audible alarm and LED indicator, notifying the child to stop pouring. The device is battery-powered, rechargeable via USB Type-C, and designed for everyday use with a battery life of up to one week per charge.
Metanoia was responsible for the complete product development process, including electronics design, embedded firmware, PCB manufacturing, enclosure integration, testing, and mass production.
A total of 200 production units were successfully manufactured and delivered.
